Oh darling Joyce I am sorry you have had a fall and hope you are improving and not in too much pain my lovely.
I came to the UK originally for 6 weeks but have been here 4 months. Henrietta went travelling to Asia and while she was away my house had a burst hot water pipe and it was so dreadful I had to call the fire service to help close the water off. The damage is unbelievable and thank goodness I had a good insurance policy as the damage is around £30,000 to £40,000 All the ceilings in the kitchen and dining room had to be replaced as one of them was confirmed to have Asbestos in the Artex. I have no carpets or wood flooring and the downstairs and hallway and landing have to be decorated. Slowly getting it back to normal and hopefully I will be able to go back to Greece in another three more weeks when everything has been restored.  Such a nightmare I have had to endure. Henrietta is back now and helping me to get everything sorted as I have had to replace fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Need to replace some furniture hopefully next few weeks. The carpets and flooring will be the last things to be done. I am exhausted from this utter nightmare xx
