How are things going with you? How is the violet trail going so far?

I was in Minnesota for a few days but I'm back in KC now. There was a winter storm while I was up north so I had to delay my travel back to KC for an extra day but I enjoyed the extra time with my family. My cat hasn't peed yet and we've been back since yesterday afternoon so I'm a bit worried. I'm monitoring it and might end up taking him to a vet. He didn't really relax during the entire drive so it could be stress. He did have a poo accident in the kennel early in the trip but no pee. I felt bad for him. I had to clean him and the kennel in a chilly parking lot 😞 My brother had treatment Tuesday and is feeling very nauseous. The dog seems to be improving. Not sure exactly what was/is going on with him. Vet talked about possible beginning of heart failure and/or dementia (sundowning).  They might be getting more tests done but I don't know what the status is on that yet.
