hi joyce we did too in the low 20s   i left my scraper in PA when we moved here never thinkng we would need it 
we did bring a sled riding thing down     never know     kara won it so shes not giving it up   
stay warm today   supposed to warm up by wed   but then get cold again     my garden all but red beets and carrots  got destroyed  all ruined by the frost  i covered what i could  but pepper zucchini cucumber eggplant beans are all gone     :(    so sad  they were doing so well too 
my orchard is not good either but i think it will be ok    fingers crossed   oranges are on there tiny blossoms and small ones   
well take care  stay warm    xxx

Hi Joyce 🙂

Has it warmed up yet where you are? It's really cold in KC and we got snow. It feels a bit like home lol.

I can't remember exactly how long the trip between KC and home takes but if I only stop for gas I think it is about 9-10 hours. My brother is going to go with me this time and spend a few days at my place. He will take a flight home out of Fargo where my oldest son lives. It should be a fun time (and less stress for me on the winter drive).

I'm done with Pottery Lottery for January and not doing much with my garden. I can't commit to a big quest right now. Just attracting Jackdaws.

Hey Lady,
I am glad Ernie is doing better. Oh I know how bad vet bills can get. I tried pet insurance but it doesn’t really pay off. Lucy is going on 17 and sometimes has accidents. We moved the cat box upstairs for Muncie when he started having mobility issues. We just left everything upstairs. My daughter’s cat was having diarrhea issues and because of that it affected her anal glands. I am so glad with all my years of loving cats I haven’t ever had to deal with that.
These candies are no joke. It’s not easy.
