once your plant is ready for harvest, leave the plant alone and change your food to bird mix on both platters  💖 if you can buy a mushroom (must be planted in a mushroom pot) it will help deter mice and ducks.  Agaric mushroom is first, and only deters them somewhat.  but you will attract kiwi birds with the low platter and others with the high platter bird mix.  Sprinkle the mushroom with dust till it is fully grown if you can, and then just leave it till it's ready for harvest.   💖
