Even though they migrated to Australia, they are still attached to Grenada :). If one of them dies in Australia, their obituary is posted in Grenada for the locals who knew them to also grieve etc

Wow, your dad has left a nice legacy :). I am so pleased you have shared this with me :). Many Grenadians of British/Irish ancestry have migrated to Australia, these people ancestors arrived in the Caribbean during the era of General Cromwell of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire England.  In Grenada, those people are known as 'mongs mongs' and Barbados 'Redlegs'. In Grenada, there is a village called Mt Moritz where there are still visible descendants of British/Irish people :).
