Harry Potter and Ron Weasley had left the secret archives of the house elves, deep inside the castle to get some refreshments in Hogwarts kitchen. After three days and nights there, they've learned most of the little folk myths and legends and nothing useful to save Hermione.
"Dad!" Albus Potter had interrupted their gloomy meal. "Scorpius believes there's something going on at Snape's cemetary but his family has forbidden him to go there now. Can I go with uncle Ron?"

Draco stared at his father, then at Kreacher and exploded in a roaring laughter. "If I were a muggle, I'd say that you've watched too much Stargate on tv! Enough of this nonsense." Turning to face his son. "Scorpius, the holidays are coming to an end, if I see you again in that cemetary, you'll finish school in Durmstrang. Father, with all due respect, your choices in life have put us all at risk and I'd like you to refrain from putting fairytales in that head full of wind. AS for you..." (his tone was now less than friendly as he addressed Kreacher) "... unless you are willing to replace Dobby and do the dishes, get OUT!"

Kreacher was now as offended as Lucius and with a loud bang, he disappeared from Malfoy manor's hall. "I was right to buy a dishwasher, those house elves are useless creatures..."

Kreacher interrupted Lucius. "Muggles, Ha! They've been used by the race master to replace us, house elves." Draco and Scorpius were staring at him as if he had lost his mind.
"We have been created for our long life, endurance, willingness to serve... alas, our fertility was affected by this planet and when the masters realized it, they used fertile animals to serve them too. Muggles. Of they multiplied alright but they were flawded since the beginning. A careful reevaluation created the wizards and witches to keep them in check but many of our Creators had already found a way to leave Earth and find their way in the stars."

"This world is doomed, I don't know how much Time it has left before the muggles kill us all with their bombs and their Wars,  Wizards have been created to remedy  their former mistake. They played God with an animal to get useful slaves for thé hard labour, just like WE did when WE used our New found powers to chain house elves. Wizards were supposed to control muggles but WE failed. As gardians, WE failed" said Lucius

"What if that last was you? Or me? Or Scorpius?" asked Draco with growing anger in his tone. "How much is this family going to sacrifice now for a dream of eternal life in a realm of milk and honey?". He grabbed a ritual dagger exposed on the wall and gave it to Lucius. "There! Let's move things up, I am so tired of all this, cut our throat and cut your veins, I only wanted to life a normal life but it proves impossible in this family of lunatics! There! Take it!"
A dry smile was now on his father's lips.
"The Dark Lord was in pursuit of his old dream, eternal life but our family had other goals, Draco and I sure hope to be still alive to see it happen so put back the knife on this wall if you wish to know what we are and what we desire."

Lucius looked at his son and grand son, how could he make up to them for his foolish and disastrous choices which almost cost him to lose everything, especially his family. "I don't pretend to understand everything. I was astonished to discover that Snape was the heir of the lost realm. Snape was the heir of the dark elves, Potter's mother represented the fair ones, Aberforth Dumbledore was one of the magicians, one last must fall in order to fulfill thé prophecy.

Lucius smiled. "The dark Lord was so sure to be the heir of the lost realm when he réaliser that the kalar had Indeed rejected his claim, he was so angry that uncle Gracchus feared he'd killed him. Draco : and you Say that Snape was that heir? Thé Gates of the lost realm are supposed to open at his death, when he let Nagini kill him I half expected to see the realm opens to welcome all the wizards to eternal life but you Saïd all four had to die. Now Scorpius is wasting his time in a cemetary, this folly has to stop, do you hear me, son?

Scorpius was standing near his grand-dad, in Malfoy's manor salon. Scolded by Draco, he had had to abandon his watch over Snape's grave despite his protestations that he had heard to sad grey stone "sing" or lament. Now Lucius was again babbling over his youth as a Death Eater and Scorpius was having a hard time not to yawn before his family and Kreacher.
What was the House elf doing here anyway? The old bat looking creature sure wasn't welcome in his family's home, not after Dobby's treason, it was the first time he'd seen a House Elf roam free.
Lucius: "Are you listening, Scorpius?"
Scorpius: "Erm, oh yes, you were saying that erm...
Draco: ... your grand uncle Gracchus who was Ministre at that time had let the golden artefact be touched by He who must not be named and it had exploded.
Scorpius (very much interested now): like with Mrs Granger-Weasley?

At Hogwarts secret House Elves' library, deep under the school kitchen, Harry has had Ron's help to try to find answers in their desperate search for a cure. Hermione was still floating in the tank filled with Snape's recipe, a potion that put a stopper to Death.
"I can't find anything that could help Hermione,   it just talks about their origin in a nearby galaxy, their evacuation from it after the Disaster and how a fleet of vessels landed on Earth thousands of year ago" said Ron

Lucius Malfoy cleared his voice; his son was right, he was not prepared to let his grand son ruin and risk his life for something which nearly cost his whole family to die. To Hell with the lost realm, the source of all magic and everlasting life, his choice to follow in his uncle's steps as a Death Eater had been nothing but a calamity.
"Draco, where's Scorpius? He must hear what I have to say."

Draco: "He's at the Hogwarts cemetary, watching over professor Snape's tomb as if he would jump out of it and open the gates of whatever fantasy realm he imagines."
