Hi Jean all well thank you hope you are too I’ve never been to the Trafford centre it’s only about 90 mins away from us can’t believe how near Christmas is x

Jean I have been knitting cowls this week from huge boxes of stash yarn. 3 Shifty cowls pattern from Ravelry, 3 sheep cowls and on my second slip stitch cowls. All again on Ravelry. Have started an Icelandic jumper for Himself but he'll probably just have to wait until everything's finished. Still knitting socks but I agree, people don't  appreciate them or the time taken to knit them. It's lovely  to see you back in fairy land xx

Hello Jean. A gggggrandfather on my mums side I traced back to IOM. We where in Douglas Museum when I mentioned it and found a book re Jurby records. There i found Banon  longhouse.which tied everything up. So drove out to see the ruin. So that's my link to a beautiful island which we have had many many holidays there. Long time ago my husband applied for a teaching post but because at the time there wasn't a school for the deaf, we would have had to send our son to boarding school. So sadly turned the job down. X
