Well done with the pottery quest!  The cataracts procedure takes just a couple of minutes.  I didn't feel a thing.  The anaesthetise your eye with a special fluid.  The worse part is staring into the bright light.....but it was all over so quickly and painlessly in the end...I was amazed.  Like science fiction.
