I loved how the temp dropped yesterday. And today...just a lovely summer day. Sunny, warm and a nice breeze.

Yesterday was horrible for smoke...we only went a couple blocks with Fang and then returned home and stayed inside. I was coughing just walking along.
Will likely pretty much stay inside today too...so heading to the city to buy a new computer chair as the hydraulic action on this one is losing function...and it slides down to the lowest position which is too low for me.
Thursday is supposed to be severe thunderstorms...but temp will drop so we will get a slight reprieve from the hot stuff. Everything needs watering too so that will be a help. Maybe the smoke will be redirected south. to give the Americans even more reason to complain about it.

Yesterday afternoon the temp dropped to 24 and a cool breeze developed. It was a perfect summer day. I almost had to put a sweatshirt on as it got so cold sitting in the shade on the deck reading in the afternoon.

Imagine lots of mosquitoes with the humidity. There seem to be a lot of hornets hanging around our house this year. Not keen on them. Not outside long as do not want to shake and bake.
Sorting through old photos...ones handed down to me by my mother...so old ones of her family and various relatives. Then ones of my Dad's family and relatives...and then us and Kevin's family. I have sorted into stacks and will go through again and dump more. Some are easy to get rid of as the photo quality is poor...but others...I wonder...should I keep them? Some are from late 1800's to early 1900's...of family before they came to Canada.
Going to take a breather and go do some painting on a couple crafts that I am doing.

Been going through family history information and filing it...at least two hundred pages to go in respective binders. I only know the number as I have had to buy two packages of plastic sleeves and have to buy more.

Garage is sort of at a standstill...we are pooped. But we moved a couple things against an outside wall and that might be it for today. Going to give Fang a bath.

It is nice here tonight...grey, warm...and a gentle breeze. Hope she enjoys herself.
I was caught up in this and that today...no garage cleaning. I am getting tired of it. But two large garbage cans and four little garbage cans plus wood, carpeting, etc went to the dump.

We are waiting for the neighbourhood fireworks...have the windows closed so Fang won't hear. The big fireworks are in Southampton...they do July first and we do Labour Day.
