To get Birthday Cake, you need to make sure you have an empty feeding plate in your garden. You then hunt birthday critters until you get whatever the number of critters it takes to get the cake drop. Look under birthday critters to find out when, some drop every 2 spotted, the more common ones take 5, and on the 5th or whatever number the cake will drop. Make sure you get the cake you want for the critter, for the 15th Birthday Chick, you need to get the 15 cake, not the 10. Most require one or the other except common ones like WRC and Mermaid.
