I too had a salmon colored lounge suite is armrests were attacked by the cats. I also thought it had character. I regret giving it away as the one that belonged to my parents is the most uncomfortable lounge suite I've ever encountered. The bed is just clue marks on the base around the bottom where they lie on their backs and put their claws into it. Of course these things are made of strange things like now on threads and that type of thing so that's what they are now pulling up of the little holes they've made. It does have character and no one but me sees it.
The weather has been okay some really nice warm days with cool mornings and cool evenings. They predicted cold fronts to move in and this week has been a little colder again although if you are outdoors it seems much warmer than what it does when you indoors.

Hello Debbie, how are you? I got bored with fairyland and real life took a twist in the road. I'm okay though so nothing to worry about. Are you a little slack at getting back into fairyland? I haven't visited any gardens. I won't say there is anything wrong with getting up 2 or 3 times for a wee. If you can do that and go back to sleep then it's good. I can do that sometimes and other times not. Things are okay and we did get the water sorted. It took about 10 days but it's back to normal now. Eskom are bragging about 3 months of no load shedding which is all very well except the municipality in my area his head a couple of breakdowns in this time. One thanks to some idiot I think down branches on a tree which landed on the overhead lines. We were without electricity for about 2 days. Name the last one was a Friday when they did planned maintenance which was supposed to be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Needless to say that wasn't quite how it worked.

Good morning Debbie good to see you. Glad the move went okay and you settling in nicely. A new bed they are the best. Are you sleeping better? I need a new one and I'm going to have find something to spray it with to deter the cats from using it as claw sharpener otherwise it doesn't really need replacing. It's chilly and they doing maintenance on the water system. Have had water for the week so far. Switched off the hot water geyser so it doesn't damage the element with no water in the tank. I'm hoping we are back to normal soon I need to wash my hair. Boiling water for hot water washing takes ages. Also puts me into a different frame of mind. Enough of that gave a wonderful day and smile all the while. Take care and enjoy some sunshine I believe you are blessed with.
