Before we got there the nurses cleaned him up combed his hair put on a new gown,dad said his heart doctor was coming in. So he did come in while we were there,listened to his heart.He said he had an episode were his heart was beating slow then would speed up, but it's been doing that for years.They wanted to put a pacemaker in 5 yrs ago he said no,at his age it would not be worth it.The doc said it takes 5 days for the covid with meds to leave the system.So he left and there were nurses in and out till we left.The gave him a breathing treatment for the first time,removed his 2 ivs cause they looked terrible put in another one,checked his blood sugar first time,took more blood.Therapists came in changed his bedding,gown ,shorts,had him walk a few feet and sat him in a chair. Everyone was so attentive,someone lit a fire under their butts.Jay said he thinks the other nurses all week didn't want to spend too much time with him because he had covid.Every thing so far is good,he didn't eat all his lunch but did eat all breakfast and dinner.
