My xmas was really like a normal day, except had a glass of port or two........ roasted a chicken but could not be bothered doing a roast dinner with it so made a sandwich..... but did on boxing day do Lizzy Loo & myself a roast dinner with all the trimmings.  Went up the road on boxing day to watch the mummers play which is always topical humour........ apart from that it was just like another day for me...... my sister phoned that was it really........... did not even see any of my neighbours for nearly a week........
Glad you got to see your grandkids I wish my 2 would bother to pick up the phone or even drop me a card they are 17 & 21 no excuse really but that is down to my daughter, I have decided to just let them get on with it from now on I am not going to make any effort........ I am lucky if I even get a thankyou for their birthday cards/xmas cards........ I have stopped giving them money even because it was always I want this etc etc..... so I was scrimping by to get them what they wanted, only to find out that they sold it or took the item back to the shop to get the money....... as I always paid cash & gave them the receipt just in case it was wrong size etc.......

I wondered what was wrong was going to send you a private message if had not heard by the end of this week.......... I have been poorly myself for nearly 4 weeks with a bad chest infection two lots of different antibiotics & steroids........ I am now on the mend but it really knocked me for six especially my asthma.........also at the moment waiting to go & have a large goitre removed asap.... had my pre surgery check just waiting for the date now........ although the fact I was ill has probably put it back a month or two as they will want me to be over the chest infection by a few months I think now.
Glad you and Charlie are fine I am myself going to have to get a new computer as mine is playing up now but it is over 10 years old so it is past its sell by date....... considering just getting a laptop although still pondering on that thought xxx
