I have been teaching Rylee to put his toys away. I have four of his toys outside in a metal tin. When we go out he goes straight to the tin and askes for his toys. He is allowed to play with which ever one he wants - but only one at a time. If he wants one out he is to put away the one he was playing with first. This works well enough - most of the time. I ask him to pick up his toy and put it in the tin. He will pick it up but then drops it on the floor. I repeat the request and will not let him take a new one until he has accomplished the entire task. Make no mistake - Rylee knows what I want him to do - the minute I pick up a treat he grabs up the toy and drops it into the tin. He simply wants to make sure that I am willing to pay for the action!
