Hi Angela, gosh it's hard to believe a landlord wouldn't put in a nice new modern shower room for good tenants that have lived in the house for so long! I hope you don't have too long to wait for your new boiler. Ben came this afternoon & dropped off a trailer full of stone. He is coming tomorrow to make a start - yay! We won't be here as Colin has an appointment with an upper GI surgeon in Aberdeen about his reflux so we will have to leave about 0600 & not get home until after 2100. Our local general hospital has 93 bed blockers (3 wards) waiting for either care packages at home or places in nursing homes so there is no short stay ward just now & patients like Colin, needing keyhole surgery for things like gall bladder, hiatus hernia etc have to go to Aberdeen which is 115 miles away. Our new dining table & chairs were delivered today but there were bolts missing so only 2 of the chairs have been assembled which is all we need most of the time. But nothing ever seems to be straightforward. Lol :-)
