Good morning splash-- It is 0 and cloudy here but in the next couple of day it could be a mix of everything. Much as I need to get a hair cut I will stay in as I don't need to go out in weather that is not king to me. Sounds like you are getting a full time job-- and the pills are very important as is any appointments. I hope the pills were not for something important or you are going to be trotting her to a doctor. Tea did go well yesterday and we all have a few good laughs. I do have a few things to do this morning  then the afternoon is hopefully golf and some decent  stuff. I guess its easier to get weeds out now while the soil is still soft. Everyone around us used to dig out the dandilions from the lawn but never did, just mowed over then and at least we had a green lawn come mid summer and it was kinda a wasted effort as the dandilions grew on the side of the road and all the fields so there was lots of seed transfers floating in the air. Have a good day and don't work too hard.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. Home again after visiting Mum. She has swollen ankles today so she had to be in bed with her feet propped up. It seems that she is retaining fluid. This morning she phoned me and asked if I could bring a Manicure set to her which I did. It is fortunate that I had doubles of everything that she needed after reducing 2 houses to 1. Re. Sandra and her pills. Perhaps you need to take control over them. When Brian needed lots of pills the doctor arranged for a local chemist to keep his scripts and they gave me a weekly container with the pills placed in little compartments for morning, noon and night. Clearly labelled. Once a week I would go to the chemist and return the box and the following week's box was ready for me. All I had to do was ensure that he had taken them. I am fairly sure that you could purchase a container like that for Sandra and you take control of her prescriptions and therefore no surprises and rushed visits to a chemist. Chemists do sell them. Dad also had one. I told Mum about the Village named Paull in Yorkshire and she was surprised. Also told her that you had found connections with the Paull name in Germany and France. Mum said that Dad had told her that but didn't know anything more other than than there was a Coat of Arms. I think that I saw it on the information of the Village of Paull when I googled it yesterday. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash--- field mouse ty. I am happy to say some improvement as far as weather goes this morning,we have sunshine and -6 but I don't think it will last as the forecast does not call for nice. We are used to this up and down stuff but it does get tiring and not very cheerful for us at times. I guess you know now to go to all appointments and at least try to make sure they go smoothly. Not a pleasent thing to get confused and very upsetting. I know there is a few here that they know the way in the building but the corriders all look the same and at times we have to redirect some people at times but we all just seem to manage to keep most on the straight and narrow. Got my chores all done yesterday so now all I have to do is figure out me and maybe start my supper as I never feel like doing it after I come up from tea(suppose I am filled with goodies and are not hungry. Have a good day and enjoy your time in the garden.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. The dental people may have respected Sandra but may be unaware of her condition. Was she waiting for you inside? Did she display her distress to them? Do you know what they suggested as treatment? She may be like my Mum and keep her feelings inside until she is with someone she feels safe with. You. Medical and Dental procedures are a lot to take in and that is why we are strongly urging Mum to ask questions and tell them how she really feels. Hugs to both of you! I over cooked my Chicken Kiev and veggies in the oven tonight. Family phone calls etc. However I managed to eat most of it but was disappointed that the garlic sauce had oozed out and was burnt. That is the best part! I will go to bed soon and then drive to Dandenong in the afternoon. Once again HUGS to you!

Hello ED, it does seem that you will have to stay with Sandra when she has appts. As her husband and carer you will be allowed to ask questions that Sandra may not think of. Mum is having another good day and the hospital is trying to arrange Respite for her. It is actually next door to her retirement village. I looked up the township of Paull. Interesting history. I didn't go to my Art Group today as I am too tired and most likely will drive to Dandenong tomorrow to visit Mum. Enjoy your new day.
