Morning splash-- We are starting the day fine--cloudy but 12--then it is downhill all the way. If the forecast is  right we could have snow flurries tomorrow!! Hardly anyone is getting covid shots here anymore and don't seem concerned about it.I see from reading Dianne's post that you were asking about a cat the is regal with a crown and yes it was me--Kevin awhile back found a picture that looks like Sagwa but he has a ccrown and all the royal clothing on==came up in my memories so I repossted it and use it as a profile picture. Off this morning with Kevin so I will be stockedup when he is off for 2 weeks hunting the turkeys(starting next weekend) Have a good day

Hello Ed, TY for the Mouse and PD. I think that the cat photo you refferred to was from Canadian Diane. Her cat, Sagwa, is a Siamese and she also sent me the photo of a Crowned Siamese. My adopted cat Mindy thinks that she is a queen and ruler of the house however Mungo and I think otherwise. Today a photo memory of Mungo as a kitten appeared on FB however I am sure that I did not repost it. If the photo of the cat had a crown it was from Canadian Diane. Now I am REALLY GOING TO BED! Good night my friend!

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. I did ask Mum the same questions that you have asked me. I suggested that Allen, my nephew who has the key to her unit, gathers up her knitting materials so that she can take them to the Island. They are easy to access as they all around her favourite chair. Mum told me that she was lookng forward to a few beach walks. I will let the boys know. Mum also showed me the Suduko book that I gave to her in hospital
and it is almost finished. Mum is still quite switched on mentally. She has also been learning new card games at the respite hospital and loves those sessions. When I was a child card games were always such fun. Mum and Dad also taught me Majong. A Chinese game with tiles. Now it is almost 9 p.m and I am looking forward to bed and a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, home again after visiting Mum. She is feeling more confident about going home, or my brother's place next Friday. I suggested that she spends some time at my brother's place on Philip Island as they have her dog there and it would just give her extra time to gain more confidence. Mum is missing her Village friends. She is enjoying meeting new people at the Respite centre and the activities that she can join in. However she calls them fellow inmates which suggests to me that she feels a bit couped up despite having a lovely suite. Enjoy your new day.

splashed-- peace dove ty  It is cloudy and 16 this morning with some sun this afternoon?? but the weekend is to be a wash out again.I didn't get around to the golf yesterday but will try and see some of it this afternoon as I should only have the nurse coming. The medical supplies finally got delivered yesterday but even that was an adventure--got a phone call from the guy delivering  them and thought he said he was downstairs so I said I would come down. I get down there and no parcel and no delivery man-- waited a bit and seen a car pull up and a guy hop out with what looks like could be my parcel--it was and I beat the guy here. Seen as it is Fri . a fe little jobs to get done and then that is the week hopefully. Hope you got in and out without setting off the alarm--have a good day

Hello Ed, Ha ha, if Harry and Meghan walked past me in Rye and said Hello Dianne, I would certainly invite them to the Monday Morning Coffee Club. Glad that you have sorted out the alarm problem, however I will keep listening just in case! Leftover dinner, Paella,  reheated and mostly eaten. I wont be buying that one again. Pea and Ham soup cooked and in the fridge, now all I have to do is blend it and sort into freezer containers. It will be much better than the supermarket prepared frozen meals that I usually have after working at the 'Oppie' , another Aussie word. I will soon be in bed to read a book. Enjoy your day!

Hello Ed,  hope that you don't set the alarm off. I will be listening. Re. you friend Kev, well he did bring all his troubles on himself when he strayed. Yes some couples who split can live in the same house. Andrew and Fergie are prime examples! I didn't see Harry learning AFL but I am sure he enjoyed it. OH! And Collingwood had a win last night! Once again I didn't watch or listen to it. As usual I worked at the OP shop  this afternoon. It was impossible getting a car park behind the shop as a huge build is going on and there were so many huge trucks blocking our regular car parking spaces. So I had to park on the street and then keep moving my car to avoid parking fines which one of our volunteers got the other day. Where we usually park before this nearby appartment build is behind the 3 shops with dedicated parking spaces. No such luck as huge trucks always block us. Oh enough of my grizzles, I just had to get it off chest. Now for reheated leftovers for dinner. Enjoy your day from Grumpy Me!
