Morning splash-- Up before it gets daylight as I want to get at the wash and if I delay my start I never seem to get to it and have lots of excuses not to. Looks not to bad outside this morning so Hopefully I can get the garbage and that down this morning without needing waterwings to do it.Tea went well and we had a few fresh faces appear and of course everyone has to walk by the social room so a lot stop for a little chat.Kevin is very upset--his buddy from the navy day(they have stayed close friends) passed away yesterday morning. He went into hospital on the weekend and went straight to ICU,blood in his stomach but because he was so sick they couldn't test to find the source--long story short he continued to go downhill and his wife had to have the DNR sign put up--hit Kevin very hard. Like I said laundry day so push onward and get going so my getting up early was not in vain--Have a good day.

Hello  Ed, I am about an hour and a half away from Clayton.

Hello Ed, my brother Chris took Mum to her regular doctor today and she was sent straight to emergancy. It seems that she does not have a virus but urgently needs a pacemaker. I immediatly rushed to Dandenong hospital and my brother, his wife and I sat with Mum in the emergancy ward. She is on all manner of monitors and the staff were in and out all of the time. She has now been transferred to a heart hospital in Clayton. Not sure when the pacemaker will be put in. Chris, his wife and I stayed with Mum all afternoon. Chris went and collected her dog to take back with him to Phillip Island. He lives on the other side of Westernport Bay from me. We both drive about the same distance to Mum in Dandenong. Our younger brother is in Tasmania and out of phone contact. Worried.

Morning splash-- It is cloudy(very low cloudy as I can't see anything) and 3 this morning and I got woke about 4am with a furry thing trying to get under me--it was flashing,and crashing and booming pretty good. Can't see if there was any damage because it di here on the new last night possible high winds. The eye doctor went well ;everything is okay and come back in 4 months. But the big problem with him is every second time  I have to get the drops so he can see in the eye but then I can't see very much for quite a while after. I got a cab driver I knew so he walked me to the outside doors and made sure I got in. I was a little fun to try to find the hole for the key to open my door though!! Not much today except tea this afternoon. Have a good day

Me again, the retirement village does not have medical care. They do have a check in system for all residents in the morning. The local hospital is only 2 blocks away. I have a code to get into Mum's unit if needs be. Ambulance services also have the code. My brother Chris, who will be taking her to the doctor tomorrow lives on Phillip Island and takes him as long as it does me to get there. Our younger brother, Michael,  is on holiday in Tasmania. He actually lives closer. Chris' children live closer to Mum than any of us. Melinda, my niece stocked Mum with food yesterday before I arrived. I will now wait to here what Mum's doctor has to say.
