A nice thing that has come out of Jojo and I going to the vet together without hubby is a new closeness between us. I had to hold her while Dr. Matt examined her and I held her tight and stroked her and spoke softly to her. At a point in the examination she simply settled and just lay still while I held her. I felt her trust in me just emanate from her as I told her we were not going to hurt her, in fact I think when her toe popped back in her pain receded. She now comes to me for snuggles and treats more than to hubby. She stills snuggles with him and sleeps with him but she is much more attentive to me. Trust - it matters! Happy Thursday.
