Good morning Linda. I got side tracked yesterday (it doesn’t take much) when Mark popped in. By the time he went I’d lost all my motivation to wrap presents, so instead concentrated on making the house look festive, which it does now. I’m sitting here with just fairy lights on…there’s a lot of them 😂 My daughter phoned me to say she was going to the Lake of Lights service yesterday being held at canoe lake in Southsea. Where people are invited to light candles in memory of lost loved ones and the lake is alight with candles. She sent photos and a video, it was an amazing sight! Jan said it was very poignant as there were poems read and then they sang Song Bird, at which she was choked! It was a beautiful, peaceful service, very fitting for this time of the year. Another wet start to the day….when is it ever going to stop? All the Christmas adverts show snow…but all we get is rain! I know for people travelling, snow isn’t ideal but it would make a lovely Christmas 😂 Must go and get dressed, despite the rain I’ve got to go out. I’ll catch up with Strictly later.
