Hello Linda. The garden is done for the year now and I am so relieved.fighting the lantern flies was so overwhelming as this was our first year with them . I’m not so sure I will do a garden next year but time will tell. Enjoy your day

Good morning Linda. We actually have a sunny morning! It’s 19 degrees now and going up to 24. Might get to spend some time in the garden as there’s a lot of plants looking very dejected due to the lack of rain. I’ve bought a few packs of miniature daffodil bulbs, not ready to plant yet but I have a couple of cauldron planters that need sorting to get ready for them. We had a few £1 shops in St Helens there are two left but not everything a £1. I loved the original one, I bought a lot of Jane Asher cookware, containers, small ceramic cake stands, which I use to stand ornaments on in my cabinet, tongs ect., and diy products in the Tommy Walsh range. I always popped in there. Now the two still here, not everything’s a £1. Steve’s back has been playing up this past week, keep telling him to talk to a doctor. Since our family doctor retired and the practice was merged with another one, we don’t know the doctors or them us. Plus, you now can’t make an appointment over the phone, you have to use the app. Neither Steve or myself have it on our phones at the moment. God help all the poor people who do not have a mobile or access to a computer! It might be easier for them but not the patient
