Hi Carmen! Sounds like you had a pretty good day on Friday. I'm really glad you enjoyed your Chinese meal, I can't remember the last time I visited a Chinese restaurant, it's got to be years ago. I don't even know if the one we used to go to is still in business! They were a buffet style where you could either pay for an 'eat as much as you like' meal or buy from a more expensive menu where you were served by the wait staff. I think lots of people visited for the desserts - a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries, banana slices or marshmallows, profiteroles, icecream parlour... not remotely Chinese but who cares? 🤣🤣 Luke and I occasionally have a meal from our local takeaway but we're not very adventurous!

I'm impressed you stayed awake though, I'm not sure I would have! I bet you slept like a log when you did go to bed though, all that walking. Do you feel okay today, you didn't overdo things? Oh I tried the signing in and out thing on and it made no difference at all. The odd thing is though, say I sprinkle your garden three times, two of those messages won't have my photo, one will. It's so completely random! Hope you've had a wonderful start to your weekend? xx

It's not been the greatest start to the weekend as dad is quite poorly again. As a diabetic, you know how important regular meals are and it's been really difficult to get him to eat! Mum heated up a small bowl of rice pudding this evening, which isn't ideal but better than nothing, but he only managed a few spoonfuls and mum had to feed him. He looks awful and his breathing is quite laboured but he's refusing to allow her to call an ambulance and said that, if she does, he simply won't go with them. As he's of perfectly sound mind, they aren't allowed to use any type of force to make him go anywhere! Stubborn old man. He's sleeping now, finally, but mum's not resting because the slightest noise and she's up.

Hopefully things will look brighter when he wakes up. That's a lot of washing you guys got sorted, well done, you both deserve a cup of coffee at the very least for that 🤣🤣 It's been really cold here again today, with a biting wind so I was quite happy to start my knitting a little earlier today 😉 Anyway, I'm off to bed, nighty night, sweet dreams when it's your turn xx
