Evening Carmen, well, we peaked at 33 today and now its around 26 but it doesn't feel any cooler to me LOL. It gets so hot downstairs as we have a conservatory on the back of the house that's all glass and when the sun gets to about 11am it starts to hit it and then sun is there until about 4/5pm. On top of that, the partition from the conservatory to the house is also glass, a set of sliding doors that run the width of the room! Luke was a happy bunny, they let him finish his shift at 6.30pm instead of 10pm and he's now officially off until Sunday. Usually we say he does a rain dance so he doesn't have to help in the garden, today I'd pay him to do it 🤣🤣🤣 If I didn't have my medical issues, I'd seriously think about sleeping in the garden tonight 🤣🤣 Hope all has been well with you today? xx

Good evening Carmen I hope you are having a good day.  We have had 32C  today, it has been scorching most of the day.  I took Pippin out early before it was too hot and then I popped out for a few bits and pieces from the supermarket.  I washed and dried 3 loads of washing on the line and for the rest of the day Pippin and I were sitting under fans keeping as cool as possible.  It is still warm now, 20C and it is 11 pm, I think sleeping will be difficult this evening.  I hope you enjoyed your fan and the couch yesterday.  Enjoy the rest of your day my dear, goodnight. 😴🌛🌟
