Hi Carmen, I hope you're having a fabulous weekend? It's not great weather here again today so it's been pottering around doing things indoors. I had a lovely time at Kim's yesterday, we had a delicious lunch and you were right, the cake was good. Really lemony, moist and you wouldn't know it had sunk a bit. I've never worked with Gluten Free flour before but I'll definitely try again. We talked, we listened to our scary Podcasts and we started a new puzzle. Thankfully I managed to get the button of without causing any damage and re-sew it in the right place. I only have the sleeve to go now, then one more set for Ella (the young lady who is hoping to put together 100 boxes for families with babies, children and young teens to deliver at Christmas) and then two more sets for My Christmas Wish.

I'm planning to use a cupcake box to display them! I know that probably sounds very odd but it's actually perfect. A plain white one with a clear window, I'm going to line them with tissue paper and put a small Christmas themed sticker on the box. I have some arriving from Amazon tomorrow so I really hope it's going to work. I see it in my imagination so, fingers crossed. Halloween was a total washout here! It rained, really hard, nearly all day and most of the evening. We had four callers all night. Four!! That's a lot of left over sweets and chocolate, luckily they're all mini versions of normal sizes (fun sizes apparently) so I can treat myself to one 🤣🤣 Did you enjoy Bridgerton? Have you ever watched Downton Abbey?

It's another period drama, there's two films now as well, and if you enjoyed Bridgerton, you'll probably like Downton. Its extremely popular here still even though the series has been finished about ten years! How is the 'Chores List' coming along, longer or shorter? We really do need a chores fairy 😉 Have a relaxing evening Carmen and sleep well when you get there xx
