Good evening lovely Carmen, it's ridiculously late which has now become the norm for me and I nearly at the end of my returns. I really must try to remember to work from the back as you are usually one of the first to sprinkle after I'm done for the day and so end up last. Note to self... must do better. I hope you're weather was no worse than yesterday? I told mum about -17 and she looked at me as though I'd gone stark, raving mad 🤣🤣 She's quite petite as you saw and really feels the cold (she's the sort of person who still wears a vest in July!!) so that made her shiver just thinking about it. I've spent all day and most of my evening wrapping the rest of the children's gifts and they are finally all done. Every year I say I won't do this but every year I do!

Anyway, they're boxed, weighed, paid the appropriate postage (thank goodness for 24 hour online services) and will all be collected tomorrow. My hallway currently looks like an Amazon delivery room!! I will write cards tomorrow and then start wrapping the gifts for here. I might actually do what mum has started doing and simply put them in Christmas bags with some tissue paper!! I hope you had a good night and have been able to stay home and in the warm. Hopefully mum checked in in good time for you today - although later is good if it means she's sleeping well.
