Nikki is a joy to walk, doesn’t pull, Alfie used to be terrible. But in his latter years he slowed down, and that’s when he met Nikki, so she walked the speed of him, I always said it was Alfie who trained her to walk by our side. Nikki and I last spring summer and fall, walked over 300 kms a month, cut right back in the winter, a short walk in the winter tires me out more than a long walk when there isn’t any snow. Harder to breathe too in the winter, runny noses, makes it harder, lol. Being a really hilly town makes for a tough walk too. Hope you have a great Thursday xo
