Hi Kim, l agree its always been the same. The "grunt" workers always seem to have a raw deal. I use that expression because its those workers that put in the most effort for little reward . I have seen both sides of the coin so to speak, preferring to be an on the ground worker. Whilst pay was less the job satisfaction was so much better. l had been offered a few higher office positions and took a few in the voluntary sector getting projects off the ground. Pay was good but not fitting , so when the project was done . l went back to what l loved... working with youngsters this time on contract. I even turned high pay down. l thought it was wrong l should have a high wage for something l didnt think was a necessity to benefit anyone in the physical/care sector. Sure it would be pleasing to the eye and mind , but what is wrong with going to art galleries and museums and paying a little fee if you want to see nice art? . Sorry on my soap box again lol xxx
