Evening splashes.  I'm happy that the doctor didn't think it was anything serious.  That's good news.  But still, Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for the next two weeks until you hear back for sure.!!

I've got to admit there's been a few times over the last couple of years when I've really wanted a cigarette but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price. I used to say every year, just before they went up in the Budget, "if they get to £x I'm not paying it" and every year I did. I'm thankful I was able to give up and not start again because I'd probably still be saying it. I totally understand why people buy them "off the back of a lorry"

OMG Kim! I remember going to our little corner shop every Friday with my pocket money too! It had all the sweets sold by weight in those glass jars with thr screw on lids and we used to buy two ounces. Everyone loved buying sherbet pips because you got so many! If my mum and dad had a bit extra on the odd week, which admittedly wasn't often, or if my nanna and pops were there, and we were told we could have a quarter, well, that was a whole other thing. A quarter was a serious business! Did you get sweet peanuts? Bonbons (had to be strawberry)? Pear drops? Not the big ones though, you only got a few. Pineapple or cola cubes? Another brilliant memory Kim, thank you xx
