Hi June, the ceremony must be beautiful to watch and emotional when having family who served.  My dad, uncle and cousins served in the second world war and my dad took part in the invasion at Normandy.  I have an uncle who served in the first world war.  I'm Italian on both sides, I did the ancestry DNA and found I have Greek, Albania, Cyprus blood too.  So interesting what we find out.  We celebrate those who were killed in action in May, our Memorial Day..the day of remembrance and Thursday, 11/1 is our Veterans Day, we celebrate and thank all vets who served.  I guess we do things a little different here.  Enjoy the rest of your day, just returned from Mass.  xx

Is this problem Dave has going to stop? The news today states that the flu vaccine being given this year is not the right one for the flu going around. Haven't had mine yet but it makes one wonder if it is worth getting or not.
I used to like my flannelette sheets in England. The ones you can buy here are very thin so not worth getting. I guess a lot of people just leave their heat high so don't want extra weight. I take my duvet off I the summer and put it back on in the winter.
So the snow has arrived. Started around 3 when I had to get up to pee. It was rather the wet kind more like sleet then around 9 turned to the nice big puffy type. Going to go on all day with a short break around lunchtime. Good job Anne didn't come home.
