I will not make excuses for the women choosing patriarchy over their own lives.
I will not laugh at their jokes or attend their brunches.
I will not let them call me friend.
I will not overlook their betrayal or make nice for the sake of the family.
I will not worry if they like me or love me or if I’m too judgmental.
I will not make it more comfortable for them. I will never forget. I WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROACTIVE. 😡🤬

The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest is all gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain.
So open wide the doorway-
Thanksgiving comes again!

As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we're poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.
So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you've got;
Realize it's a lot,
And you'll make all your cares go away
