Good morning Lizzy. Looks like it might rain. It’s very dark and gloomy and the humidity is high. I’m glad it’s the weekend, this week has felt long to me. Trying to plan out another waterfall hike with the kids. Before we know it they will be back in school. Good luck to Dave at the podiatrist, that sounds painful. Have a happy Friday 💜

Dull here today and cooler.  The sting is fine thanks.  I was lucky we were in a restaurant and got a sachet of vinegar to pour on it, then wrapped it in a vinegar sodden napkin.  It was itchy yesterday but nothing today.  You must have had quite a violent reaction to your sting and it’s good that it’s calmed down.    It happens so suddenly and mostly we don’t know what type of insect did it. I used to get really bad cleg bites on the farm at hay making time and made a paste of bicarbonate soda and water to put on them.  It used to dry like plaster of Paris.  We had a busy day yesterday so I’m going to do as little as possible today.  Enjoy Friday xx
