Good morning, Susan. Thanks for the elf duck. I’m so sorry to hear that you were not feeling well. I hope you are feeling better now. How was the market that you went to with your sister? Did you buy anything fun? How is Sayde doing? Larry and I took a quick ride to camp yesterday because the guy at the bottom of the hill plowed our driveway for us on Friday. It is a very very long driveway on the side of a hill. Even with Larry’s truck in four-wheel-drive, he has a hard time getting up there with any amount of snow. We had to do a few things more to close up for winter. I shoveled off the deck and stairs, tipped the table on its side and stacked all the chairs. Larry had to take the flag down and go up into the woods to get one of his hunting blinds that he forgot about. It’s all set now until spring when we can get back up there. It was 13° here this morning when I got up at 6 AM. It is now 8 AM and it is 10°. I put a sweater and a jacket on Penny and she was still shivering. She cannot handle the cold on her paws. The vet told me last week that after tomorrow I can start to transition Piper to go outside now that she is all up-to-date with her shots. I’m going to gradually move her puppy pad closer to the door and eventually get it out on the porch. I’m thinking it’s going to be way too cold for her right now so I may just wait until after the holidays or if it warms up a little bit start then. I never thought about getting a puppy in the winter. I never occurred to me that the potty training part might be a little more difficult. I hope you have a great day.
