Happy New Year, Jean.  That is so true.  Just yesterday I was thinking about "repurposing" some homemade snowflakes that my older daughter made for us years ago when she was in college.  I have been hanging them old swag lamp hooks that the previous owner of this house left.  I have to get on a step stool to hang them.  I was thinking about getting them down in a few days.  I offered them to my daughter, but she was afraid they'd get crush.  They were strung together like a mobil, but that didn't last after the 1st year, so I have just been hanging them in strings.  So no more stools for me. :)
