They live on the edge of a small market town of about 2500, it's surrounded by farms. Their home is next door to the vets which was handy when the dog ate a mince pie. I don't know if you have sweet mince meat in Canada, it's a mix of dried fruits and lethal to small dogs. It's traditional to leave one out for Father Christmas next to the carrot for Rudolph, only Santa didn't get his, Merlin the dog decided to test if it was worth having. Needless to say he spent Christmas at the vets.  xx
