That makes sense ~ I would probably
be doing the same and I hope the
selection that you made holds up for
even longer than the carpet has
~ I did not opt for the early out
payout, as I was vested in the
retirement qualifications  ~ The lump
sum payout is for unused leave, both
annual and sick leave ~ Got a call from
the LCT supervisor this morning, who
gave me the phone number for the
Benefits individual that is responsible
for that  ~ She did say that there has
been no authorization to backfill
the vacant positions and that all of HR
is hurting ~ Hoping the payment will
come through soon, as almost 5 pay
periods have passed since my
retirement effective date ~ The weather
is tolerable today but our air quality is compromised again  ~ Best of luck on
that Tsunami alert :o(
