Hello, Karen. I can understand the ups & downs. You are moving into unknown territory. I was fortunate. I had 4.5 months of Hubby working at home during COVID in 2020. I called it "Practice Retirement". But now, after almost 6 yrs--he's getting bored. He has read just about every book available on audio across all sorts of genres. Now he's getting antsy about the yard & is contemplating sowing grass seed! The clover he planted a few years ago didn't take because it didn't get enough sun. I'm trying to encourage him to put clover in the front yard. Our lot is almost an acre & he's tried sowing grass before in the 20-odd yrs we've been here, but we don't have an irrigation system & at this stage in our lives I think it's just plain stupid to make that sort of investment. Maybe I can convince him to plant red clover.
I am sure once you are finally out the door for good, you will calm down enjoy your new adventure.
