It's only me, The big Lap according to our news is the road that runs right around Australia. Hard to believe..They make it sound like one continuous  road. Also in our news is a snake in a childs bedroom in NSW. Ended well as a snake catcher was called. This what you can & can't say these days is a joke & I find annoying. Who makes these decisions? Over here it seems you mustn't upset the immigrants. We have to many of those draining our economy. You wonder where it will all end?. Sleep well..

hello Dianne, yes, I always put outside lights up for Christmas. In fact I was almost the first to do so. I got the idea from Canada. It was many many years ago when outside lights here were with large screw in colours. Also it was hard to find some place to buy them. No internet then. I've no idea where I got mine from. I had a tree out front & hung them on there. Only about twenty of them. Peeps around here were amazed & impressed. Got to the stage when as soon as we hit December peeps would ask me when my lights were going on. Since then of course lots of peeps have lots of lights on the outside of their houses. .I also have a couple of fake trees I put outside all lit up. Yes I do use a ladder to put some up. Just a few years ago I used to put the lights up to roof height, but I'm not so adventuress any more. I start thinking about putting them up from December 1st @ the same time I start to wear & rotate my Christmas sweaters. Went through a stage when peeps were buying them for me. Love the sound of your donkey & stable scene. We have something similar but not home made.. I'm off to the charity shop now to see if they have found the glove I think I lost there last week. They

Hi Dianne
While you are heafing for a heatwave,  we are heading for a freeze! I always find it strange there is different weather in the world and different time zones. I have been watching Solar System with Brian Cox. All the other planets seem to have the same climate on their planet. No variations. Strange isn't it.
