Hello Dianne, how do the residents of Rye react to the flood of holiday makers who invade. Certainly must be good for the local economy. Yes the Melbourne Cup race is wall covered here, a bit like the Kentucky Derby. We do have quite a few betting shops in town & of course these days on line betting is popular. I'm not a gambler by nature but I did have a friend who was. He used to chase his money. He worked & lived near me & on a good day he would say to me, ''Ed Boy I'm going to buy you the biggest beer you've ever seen''. Then of course there were the bad days. He ended up going bankrupt & had to sell his house.. Sad but self inflicted.. It's art day isn't it? Have fun...

Had bad shooting pain on getting out of bed this morning..and they say my shoulder is just arthritis!!! I have asked to further it with a second opinion or  a jelly scan!! Its been like it since my fall in June..enough is enough!! lol! x

Morning Dianne, I'm having a nice evening of comedy. They are covering comedy series over the years. Brought back many memories & made me laugh. Comedy I had forgotten over the years, like I Love Lucy & Handcock's half our & more.. I've had some good laughs. Did clean some of the mud from my car which I picked up driving to the care home. Needs the power hose on it. Enjoy the day..
