Morning Dianne, the trouble with the zip is the bottom  of the zip on one side has pulled away from the coat. Went into a local repair shop with a picture on my phone. They looked @ it & said it is possible to repair, & if not it's possibly £25 for a new zip.But I have to take it in for an estimate... I did see Les Patterson alas Barry Humphries on an old chat show this evening. He is very basic but made me laugh.. Had a nice trip to town this morning. Nice long chat @ the Op Shop followed by a coffee & tea cake @ a different café. Always thought this one as scruffy place but it turned out fine. Good coffee always a yard stick & very friendly. So that will do us now... Hope you have a super day...WM...fanx.

Good morning splash---a clear morning and sitting right on 0--but all the snow and such is all around us just not here yet. Will do my regular chores and then see if I can outsmart a cat and his need to get in the middle of everything I try to do as far as trying to get ready for Christmas, Have a good day

Lovely day today. I have the washing out and have cleared the leaves front and back.  Not as many leaves or rubbish as usual. I think the wind was blowing from a different direction.
I would not like to throw books out either but if they won't sell I guess you have to.

Hello Dianne, so you sound like your English, that's the beauty of a good education both from home & school. I often find that in England as you will know accents vary around our small country & it's always the better educated ones who seem to speak Propper English. I nearly said Kings English  but my fingers wouldn't do it.. lol. ..The strong winds have now moved on I'm pleased to say..I'm off to town this morning, not sure if Sandra will join me. I of course have a bag of stuff for the Op Shop. Also will get an estimate on having a thirty inch zip replaced in the jacket which had me trapped last week. I don't need the jacket but I can't take it to the charity as it is. Also thinking of getting the Christmas decorations down from the loft. Do you call it a loft or attic? Continue to enjoy your day.
