Morning Dianne, I like the word Late, doesn't sound so final. Picked The Book up & have made a start. I'm liking Hattie & Walter already. Spent a lot of my afternoon on the phone to my old mate Laurie who is in the care home. He also was a buddy of Terry Stamp so it was handy as an opening gambit as conversation can be difficult with him. We chat about the old days together. All he has is bingo & a quiz etc in his life. Did I ever tell you how he eventually ended up in the care home? If I did don't read on..But when he was about twenty three he ran into a road to save a young child from getting run over. He saved the little girl but got smashed up by a fast moving car. It left him with all sorts of medical & physical problems which eventually put him where he is today as his wife couldn't eventually cope with him @ home..His accident was featured in our national papers..He still says he doesn't regret what he did. The child he saved still keeps in touch with him, that's a lovely thing. 'll now let you get on with your day..have a good one..

Hi Dianne very stressful time with my car broken again yesterday won't start neighbours tried to help but in the end reported it to breakdown cover they didn't get to me last night so came this morning but couldn't fix it so now got a auto locksmith was supposed to come this afternoon but didn't so hopefully tomorrow so had to walk to get some food shopping repairs won't be covered by insurance so I have to pay for it so more expense on this car oh well.

Tweeny watered the Sunflower, and spotted a Summer Pygmy Mouse feeding on the Wild Berries!
