Morning Diane, still mild here @ 14c but a bit on the damp side. Re Christmas I think we have said before the trouble is when families get bigger & more spread out things aint what they used to be. I was reminded of that when watching old cine film of fifty plus years ago. Everyone was gathered together then. Usually @ our house but that was no problem. Everyone stayed the night. Can't remember but most were sleeping on LoLo's I guess. Us boys used to sometimes stay up all night playing cards & having a break for a turkey sarnie. Fond memories. Pleased your happy with your haircut. Will she be your regular hair lady? How are you this morning? Still making progress I hope. I had a lazy day yesterday, only made some beer, other than that I just scratched around. It was Guy Fawkes day yesterday so the noise of the fireworks was horrendous. I know that the pigeons on our window sills weren't happy as they tried to sleep. lol. Hope you have a good day.   

Hello Diane, TY for the Chaffinch and Amber seed. I hope that you managed to go to tea. I have had a quiet day here, mostly knitting. Almost finished the gnome for the new baby. Now it is time for bed and I will hopefully finish the Lee Child book. Enjoy your day.

well its a mild start here apparently 13 already so not bad & dry! plenty of fireworks going off last night from about 5-10pm!
glad you managed to get down to tea and enjoyed it good to catch up with others
hope you manage to get some laundry done today but dont overdo it too much
