Morning Diane, we are @ 2c this morning with the promise that it is about to get warmer. Living here in the south east of the country we didn't get the snow other parts of the country got. So yesterday I ventured to town to manly get my visa site sorted. Got to the town entertainment centre & strolled to the room where the bank operates from, & looked through the window of the door & it's full of ladies doing exercises. Made some enquires only to discover the bank person is only there every other week which is contrary to what I had been told. So got wet & cold for nowt. Last evening I met up with three of my pingsters @ a local snooker club. I've never been there before & was amazed how big it was with lots of pool tables & snooker ones. I thought it was going to be a grotty place. The entrance was concealed near a car park. The quality of everything there was excellent.Lovely long bar & they serve some good looking food. The snooker was ok other than one chap who I'm not fond of telling me what to do all the time. As I thought the three chaps were very competitive & all I wanted was to have fun. Also had to many beers & am now paying the price. lol. I'm old enough to know better.. lol. We have had some golf on tv. Lot of big names playing. It's where they play holes on a screen. Forget what they call it but is was very social Think it could be called simulated golf...I'm about to get all the boxed Christmas decs back into the loft where they live..Have a good day.
