Morning Diane, you have hit on one of my top moans. Tracey would be ok without my assistance, it's just she would have to pay a tradesman to do the jobs. I think she gets a bit upset that I moan about the two able men in the family who are reluctant to do things for her or anyone else for that matter. It's not that they aren't able. Take Josh. He is a electrician & almost entirely internally rebuilt the house he is . living in ..I did give him a hand now & again, that was all. So he is capable of any job. It was like the other week when I was sawing Tracey's old deck into manageable size pieces for a wood burner. Josh looked in & said  I'll have some of that for my fire. Your fortunate to have Kevin who seems capable of handling any situation. I watched some second division speedway last night, not brilliant stuff but the stars of tomorrow. Tonight will be the real thing with a GP.. Did get to the golf but it's not grabbing me. Always a good standby though..Hope your day goes well..

Hi Diane...hope that mugginess you mention lifts and soon.  It's nice and cool here this morning no sun mind you.  But I can live with that.  Knee seems a little bit better today but it always feels better first thing after a night's rest.  It's as the day goes on it gets worse again.  Wont be doing much again today.  Roll on when I can move around again properly.  Have a good day xxx

well i am off to do some shopping today need to hit the pet store Jake has a bed that is falling apart so might even treat him to a new one! few bits i need that i put off last week but now stocks are depleted! then a few jobs did a few after work last couple of days so not so bad!
Glad you got all the groceries & Sagwa enjoyed Kevin's visit am sure he got lots of fusses

Hello Diane, at last sunshine!  I went back to Rosebud today to exchange the jeans. First stop the service desk and they gave me a voucher. Then tried on jeans and decided. Also picked up some warm PJ's. Got to the counter placed jeans on the desk and handed over my voucher as well as th PJ's for purchase. Whilst the lass serving me was watching I put the jeans in my shopping bag on the counter thinking that I would save her time as there was a queue behind me. Expecting to pay $14 for the PJ's. She then gave me another voucher for $11 . Me clearly confused I asked her was she sure. She then patiently highlighted the amounts on the reciepts. And then she placed the pj's with the jeans still on her counter in my shopping bag. I left the store still confused. Once at home I went through the receipts and then the penny dropped so to speak. $14 for the PJ's and $11 voucher. Adds up to $25 the cost of the jeans replacement. Me thinking that I was helping her clearly in front of her and placing the jeans in my shopping bag most likely meant that she did not scan the jeans. Nor did she stop me from doing so. Now a moral dilemma do I go back to the store and tell them about the mistake? Will that get the lass at the register in trouble? The store earns millions, the lass most likely earns a pittance and needs her job. I don't need $25. I am thinking to donate $25 to a charity. What would you do?
