Morning Diane, good start to the day, sunny again. Yesterday got so hot that I could feel myself getting burnt so came back inside. But change is on the way they tell us. The skiers are not over excited by the conditions. It's slushy they say & it puts a lot of strain on the knees. Looks good in the pictures though. I've got beer to bottle today while the weather is warmish. I got stuck into the golf last night. I thought it was very emotional when Langer was on the eighteenth. How the crowd( patrons) stood & clapped cheered & him. Lovely touch. As far as the golf is concerned anything can happen. Conners still going well. Not many players from USA on the leader board. Should be an interesting couple of days ahead. How did the alarm test go? Have a happy Saturday...

Hi Diane hope you slept well - i had a nice sleep in this morning & woke to a lovely sunny day apparently from tonight rain though think the garden may need it been over 3 weeks since we had any
i do try not to worry and your right cant change what they say these things so i  will try!
not much planned today as the chap is due to put in the stair & bathroom rails so i guess after that i will be cleaning up a little
so the fire drill was not only late but nothing much at all we have them at work we have to stand in a car park they always pick a day when it pours with rain!
well i have to now try to cool the house down as i left the heating on all night forgot to flick the switch!!

Good Morning Diane..ty for the PM.  Well I am glad the fire drill was short lived so to speak.  It can be hard on the ears so I can imagine it would cause a lot of discomfort for poor Sagwa.  Sounds like your weather is improving again.  Eventually the Spring weather will stay and the winter temps will recede.  No plans for today I usually try to have a relaxing weekend if I can anyway.  I might go see my neighbour haven't seen her for a while and we need to catch up. Have a good weekend xxx

Hello Diane, yes cats hate loud noises. I hope that Sagwa isn't too frightened by the fire alarm. Fire drills are important. We are having what is called an Indian Summer. Temps going up into the low 30's. On the radio this morning the announcer wondered why it was called Indian Summer. People called in saying it was an American term. Do you have the same term? The announcer then wondered if we could have an Australian term. Someone phoned in and suggested a Boomerang Summer. Like a Boomerang Summer was coming Back. I loved it. I think that I will now use that term for the hot Autumn days. Enjoy your day.
