Good Morning Diane..well it's all over now Halloween flies in and it will be all about Christmas now.  How did you pot luck go yesterday I hope you enjoyednit.  Going to pack today can't make my mind up whether to freeze my garden for the week or just leave food out when I can.  I am doing the pot lottery so I might do the latter.  Dull day here but it's dry at least.  I am not doing my food shop this week. Hubby will look after that while I am away.  Looking forward to the break now as well as seeing my Mom of course.  Have a good day xxx

Morning Diane, we have hit 10c this morning with a cloudless sky. Hope all went well yesterday with the Pot Luck.Did you get a seat in the social room or have to sit in the lobby? With regards to visiting peeps in care homes I was always shielded from seeing them or when they were in a bad way in hospital. Things have changed a lot since then. Thinking back when my grand father was ill I hadn't got a clue until I was told he had died. It was the same with my mums mum..Can't remember how I felt about that. Should be a quiet day here as Tracey & Sausage have gone to a cake exhibition in Birmingham which is some 150 miles from here. They don't sell cakes it's all about the equipment. They go every year & come back loaded with kit. Sausage has been busy making mostly cup cakes for Halloween most of which Tracey has delivered as Sausage is working @ Tracey's golf club, so her time is limited. Don't know how she does it, some times she is up all night cake making. Bless. Did I tell you her man has returned?  Have a happy Friday & a Happy Month..

Hello Diane, I hope that you secured your place at the Dinner. Another busy and enjoyable day in the Charity Store. This weekend is unnoficial 4 day long weekend. I say unnoficial because Tuesday is Melbourne Cup day, a horse race,  and many people take the Monday as well. Lots of people arriving already. When I arrived at the shop there was the usual huge stack of books to price and shelve. I managed to get them all out as I am sure the shop will be busy over the weekend. And I am also sure that we will have lots of donations over the weekend as people with holiday homes do a clear out.  Enjoy your day.

Morning Diane well its Friday am feeling a little off my leg is playing me up including my knee but lef is very red & hot no cuts or anything not sure if i have start of cellulitis so want to get it looked at if i can will call docs when they open see if i can get in today
sounds like you had a good turn out for pot luck and lots of nice food with good leftovers for you all to use saves cooking too
we had many fireworks going last night am sure will be same over weekend too shame we dont have times when they allowed but nothing is in place!
