Hi, Janet!  Turkey breast in the oven and can smell it already.  Time to go in and get ready for the day now.  The easy preparations will come after I look "decent".  LOL

What are you up to today?  It's a sunny, nice day here but cooler and a light breeze which makes it feel even colder.  I covered Randy up with a blanket last night and he kept it on!  :)

My son has already said Happy Thanksgiving.  My daughter usually texts me a Happy Thanksgiving.  Anyway, I'm thankful I had the experience of being their mom.  :)

Was working on the jigsaw this evening and wondered why I was running out of room for the border.  Well...the jigsaw is larger than the board Don bought me.  All the others have fit just fine.  Had to transfer the pieces to the tabletop.  Must be a weird size.

Hi, Janet!  Didn't get a chance to get online in the afternoon.  Got the pie finished and made homemade cranberry sauce.  I like it with turkey (Don doesn't care for the sauce).  After Thanksgiving I'll use a bit of it on toast.  Have never tried that before, but it sounds good.  When we left the house today there were at least 6 police cars near the area they are in the process of building some new homes.  Then we saw emergency vehicles going in towards the area we just exited.  Haven't checked with Nextdoor but something was going on there. 

Hope Auntie will be ok.  She sure has lived a good life and seems to still enjoy everything she is involved in. 

You are way ahead of me with Christmas cards.  I did get more today when in Tractor Supply.  I probably have enough now.  Maybe Friday I'll start on them.  Don't have many these days.
