It was very pleasant today.  It's 84 degrees at 6:35 p.m.  Very nice with low humidity.  Going in to get a bath in a very few minutes.  I'm so tired this evening, but it's a good tired from being outside.

Hi, Janet!  I've been upset all afternoon after hearing about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a very religious good man.  I feel so sorry for his wife and young children. 

I had to get out of the house and spent some hours out front cutting some branches off of the tree and pruning the Lantana plants.  Jay came over and talked to us for a while.  He was the one having his house painted.  It looks very nice.

Have fun the next two days.  You have some jam- packed days!  I can't think of anything we need to do the next few days except get things at the grocery store.
