When I put the Christmas boxes away, since the kids were little, I always left a message and date the tree was taken down.  One I read today said Chase was just the cutest little boy.  He was just 6 months old, and Steve had had a bad kidney stone that year.  Wow...I'll have to read more of them some day.  Found a box full of cassettes, too.  The soundtrack from the movie "Rain Man", cassettes to relax by, Russian language cassette for travelers...(ha ha), when Irina visited in '92, she was 18 years old.  I tried to learn some language.  ;)  It wasn't easy.  Oh, boy....now we don't even speak and I wonder if her son, Peter, survived if he was in the service there.  :( 

Well, better get off of here and get another glass of water.  Had lots of leg cramps/foot cramps last night.  Maybe should get some bananas tomorrow.  :)  Take care over there!  xx

Hi, Janet!  I have done very little on the jigsaw.  While Don was at the gym, I took the Christmas tree down, front window lights, got the boxes all down from the shelf and put them all back.  Ran the sweeper in the closet, changed my bed, made the bed, two loads of laundry.  Might change Don's tomorrow.  Yawn! 

At Walmart yesterday they had a cardboard bin with hardcover books for $6.95.  So I bought David Baldacci's "The Edge".  Hope it's good.  Don't want to start it until I have time to read a few chapters at least.  ;)  I didn't have anything new to read to started to re-read "The Wager", which was so interesting. 

Fireworks have been going off this evening now and then.  I'm sure New Year's Eve it will be noisy.  Well, unless it rains.  That might put a damper on things.  We've decided to have homemade tacos on New Year's Eve.  Sounds good.
