Our skies have been very smokey lately.  Not sure if there is a fire nearby or in California?  Maybe I'll check, but yesterday the mountains were nearly gone in the haze.  I told Don if anyone traveled through Pahrump they would think it was very awful looking.  Must not be good for the lungs either. 

Well...heading out to make the dough, then it has to sit in the fridge for an hour.  Looks like I'll be actually making the cookies after our dinner, which is ok with me.  ;)

Take care!  Daryn is probably right.  People are lazy these days & don't want to do anything strenuous or labor intensive.  Oh, I ordered myself a pair of Merrell tennis shoes for casual walking.  Picked out a pair without such a high bit of soul on the bottom.  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Good to hear from you.  I didn't do that much on the computer this morning.  Christopher called me on his walk to strengthen his ankle.  I didn't know where my phone was so decided to answer my smart watch.  Ha ha!  It worked.  I could understand him better than my phone.  Wow!  Chris had to go to the hospital a couple of weeks ago to be placed on a IV Drip of antibiotic.  One of the plates in his leg got infection around it.  :(  He doesn't think he'll ever be the same again after breaking that ankle.  Very sad.  As soon as they can remove the plates, he's having them taken out.  At least he's really getting the walking in like he's supposed to.  I do feel sorry for him, no matter how much grief he's caused me. 

Before I forget...Thanks for the Gecko and Pink Diamond.  I'm going to make some sugar cookies.  Haven't made any cookies for a long time.  Was going to make oatmeal cookies, but don't have any brown sugar.  Don doesn't care; I just thought oatmeal would be healthier.  LOL! 

We did go out for Chipotle for lunch.  I cooked pork chops yesterday for our meal tonight...along with corn on the cob.  Hope it's decent.  ;)
