After working in the yard, I did get to the area rug.  The carpet cleaner didn't work for me, so used the Crosswave.  Darn!  Maybe Don can find out if a tube is clogged in the Bissel.  The Crosswave cleans wood, tile, and area rugs, and did a good job.

Fixed a meal in the crock pot today.  Turned out pretty good.  Chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, and broth.  Have a nice Wednesday.  :)  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Awww...I bet once Paul opened the package he realized it wasn't for him!  ;)  At least you had the chance to chat with him and it seems he was very friendly! 

Was busy today when we got back from lunch and the store.  I decided to trim some of those bushes out front that smell like Christmas trees.  It was fun until I started to sweat.  Jay and Yvonne were leaving today, and he let me know the little hummingbirds are still ok!  I was worried about them after all the storms lately. 

Don's friend, Garry May (and my step cousin) had problems with his garage door today.  They have one car and Garry drops Julie off at work and picks her up every workday.  Well, today she had to take a cab home.  The garage door wouldn't open and the car was inside.  So, he got an estimate of $500.  The man came to do the repair and said the other spring was ready to go, also and a couple of other things needed replaced.  So as you can imagine the cost zoomed up to $1,200.  He went to get a pizza after the repair man left.  Came back and the garage door wouldn't open.  The man came right back and replaced the broken spring.  What luck.

❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ  I hope the concrete problem has been fixed by your neighbour.  That's frustrating!  We are busy with our company from Australia!  What fun to have everyone together again.  I've had my final dentist appointment today so I'm getting used to my new tooth and the feeling of some strength in my bite again.  I'm a little nervous that it will break and fall out again!
