I put salt down on my steps today.Hoping they dried out before tonights frost, going to be a big one.The walk has been cancelled, we will meet in the local pub for coffee and a chat.As it involves walking down a steep hill Some of us aregoing to wait and see what it's like underfoot.Backgarden is still covered in snow.Sleep well.

Much to my relief the car started.I kept to local main roads, still slippery in places.There is warmth in the sun, it helped to melt the ice on my car, snow just brushed off,My son goes cold water swimming in a local pond/lake.He said it was cold this morning, but pretty.He must be mad.Upstairs has been hoovered etc, and my walking gear out ready for tomorrow.Not sure what the rest of the day will bring.I also cleaned inside window/door glass.Just waiting for the sun to come round and show the streaks.
